The Nativity by the Adams Family
The Garcia's made a great Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus while Amber, Trenton and I were the three Wise Men. Samara and Grandma made the cutest little sheep. Rissy, and Kara were angels with the help of Josh. Ty was a little cow and Ehtan was a horse being led by the shepherd Josh. Dad was the narrator. It was a sweet time.
On Christmas Eve we had a yummy dinner. All the guys cooked the girls steaks and mine was sooooo yummy!! I always thought I could only eat WELL DONE, but now I know I love mine medium rare. (thanks Jer for giving me a taste of heaven!) After dinner it was time to start a few new traditions like Grandma and Grandpa measuring all the grand kids on the cute "Watch me Grow" stick Shelly painted. Grandpa then read the story of Baby Jesus found in Luke 2 while we all proceeded to act it out. Jeremy hid behind the camera!! (can you believe it?) Granna Adams and Amber sewed all the costumes and they were adorable and added so much fun to the evening. I loved it when Josh lifted little angel Marissa up high on his head as Dad read from the scriptures. .After that it was time to open fun new matching Jammies from Mom. The little blankets and Lambs were so sweet Mom. Samara sleeps with hers every night. Christmas morning was wonderful as we sat around the beautiful tree with the fire burning and the smell of excitement in the air. I couldn't help but think about how fortunate we are to have such a wonderful family that truly knows the true meaning of Christmas. It is so easy for me to get caught up in all the gifts to buy and the fun wrapping involved that it was good to sit and ponder what is really important. I am so grateful for my parents, husband, babies, and siblings and their families and the love we have for one another. I am also very thankful for my testimony of our savior Jesus Christ and a loving father in Heaven. Mom and Dad bought Samara and Rissy little ride on caterpillars. We went out to Grandpa Pew's and had lunch and opened presents and then we just relaxed and enjoyed the break and time together. It was Jer's first white Christmas and looked so beautiful. We spent New Year's with the Schnepf's out at Scott and Andee's new home. I will post some pictures later.
Christmas and New Years Was so much fun this year! Beacuse I haven't written in so long I will post a bunch of fun pictures from the holidays! We went to Show Low to spend Christmas with my family this year and it was so fun to be there with everyone and all the new little babies. Brenda and D.J. were able to bring little KyraLynn down from Utah and even though she was quarentined to the back room of the house we stole a few pictures. She is beautiful and was born Nov. 4th I think? We took a few pictures of the girls in front of our Christmas tree before we headed up North. Jer and his little cuties in their Christmas dresses. Kate was a little grump grump in a few and Sissy was all smiles!!

Cupcakes, Cotton Candy and Carnivals!!
Nanna, and the babies Kate, Kaleb,Becca, Darby, Meghan, and Ande
Our Little
Kate-O-Lantern!!

I am T-T-Tiggerriffic!!! I like to bounce and giggle and eat lots of candyriffic candy! Samara could'nt choose between Tigger and Pooh Bear so she was both. We had a fun week full of Halloween parties. It all started as we bounced over to the ward carnival and chili cookoff on Saturday where Sister Loftgreens cornbread is a new family favorite and where Samara helped herself to some chocolate cupcakes for the cake walk during the opening prayer. Next, we went to Nanna's to frost and EAT sugar cookies in the shape of pumpkins, bats, witches hats and ghosts cuz that's what Tiggers do best. That night was a blast at the block party where we bumped into Kami, Zac, Addie the princess and the 50's twins in poodle skirts and pony tails. It was so fun to see the Scanlans. I have decided for our family we will be regulars at that party from now on because got a rumbly in my tumbly for the cotton candy and grape snow cones that were delish! I was defiantly in my happy spot!! Jeremy took tiger to the fishing pond where she won some bubbles and then he bought his girls some jewlery the kind that glows in the dark. What a sweet Daddy and Husband. The next day was Thursday and I had a carnival at the park with my preschool class where Tigger had more chocolate cupcakes when Mom wasn't looking. Friday we headed to the Schnepf's to carve pumpkins. Jer carved a really scary skull on his. Everyone put on their costumes. Samara decided to be Winnie the Pooh and Kate was Piglet. We had our own Halloween parade on our way to Stacy and Eric's house for Jack's first birthday with Scott and Ande's Jedi nights, princess Leah, Tigger and Alli's horse, chicken, and pumpkin. Jer and Scott decided Eric put them to shame when he brought out the homemade pinatas that looked like jack-o-lanterns. Stacy made the cutest pumpkin cake and homemade rootbeer. Jer and I decided we needed to eat some more so we went to Oregano's where we had no wait at 7:00 on a Friday night and were greeted by a giant red tellatubby and Garth from Waynes World and served by Laura Croft who spilled a bowl of katsup all over me. It was good times with Winnie the Pooh and Piglet there. That was our Funeriffic Week!!
The Hot Dog cooks showed up with the cutest hot dog i've ever seen a "Lanie Dog" When they showed up at the Schnepf's Jarom yelled "Dad you have got to see this baby, it's the best costume ever!!

Babies and Blessings
Kate Terry Schnepf, Laney Nance Adams and Jessica Welch were all blessed on October 12. They were all so beautiful in white and after the blessings we all met up at the Welch home for dinner.
Great Grandma Adams made the beautiful blessing blanket and Nanna gave her the dress. Lots of loved ones came and we appreciate their love and support. It was a sweet day!
