I just got back from one of the
most fun 3 days ever!! We had a girls getaway that started Wed. afternoon and ended Saturday afternoon. Mom, Ams, Me, Kara, Shelly, Brendz, Necia, baby Lanie, and baby Kyralynn were there. We stayed at the Scottsdale Links resort and had a scrapbookin good time. We bought
WAY to much food at Costco and holed up in our rooms laughing, snacking, watching Emma, Star Dust, You've got mail, The wedding singer, and Austrailla while scrapbooking our fantastic lives away. Our first night on the town we ate at Oreganos and it was delish! We all had a little bite of everything ordered. You know we are close when we share our food!! Ha Ha! After Oregano's we went shopping and I wast so excited to find some cute new clothes at Nordstrom's Rack. Mom found me this cute green and white striped shirt I love. Thanks Mom!! She spoiled us all rotten the whole time. This whole getaway was Mom inspired. She lost 40 pounds since October 08 and this was a fun way to
CELEBRATE!! We decided it is going to be an annual thing!! Thanks to all our hubbies and mother-in-laws who watched our little ones.
You ROCK!! We ate at Cheescake factory on Friday night where we each ordered a little slice of heaven to go so we had something to help us stay up all night scrapping. It was sooooo tasty!! Necia was so cute when we got there, she was like a little kid in a candy shop. Now we all know her favorite dessert. After dinner we went shopping at an outdoor mall called Kierland Kommons. Amber found a sassy dress and Mom spoiled us and bought us all matching skirts at Ann Taylor Loft. We just had such a good time getting closer, and the spirit was so sweet the entire time. I am so greatfull for such sisters and sisters-in-laws and for such an amazing Mom who is such a peacemaker and makes us all fell so good all the time.
Can't wait till next year!! Amber and I tied with 22 and a half pages scrapped. I'll beat you next year.
