Pretty Britty Boutique

The boutique was a huge success and so much fun! All the hard work advertising paid off and we sold and sold and sold cute stuff for two days. I wanted to thank all the sellers and also my family for all of their help, Shelly and I couldn't have done it without you! I can't wait until next year! Dad, Mom and Jer stayed up late helping me set up and put tags on my 300 bows. Jeremy made yummy cinnamon rolls and my mother-in-law Terry was there with two of the Fat sisters Jojo and Myrna selling their cook books not to mention their to die for gingersnaps! Well It has been way to long since I last posted, but I wanted to talk about my little Katie Pie! On July 10th she turned one. KATE at ONE:

*sweet as can be

*climbing up and on everything

*Standing and falling, no steps by herself yet

*Loves cottage cheese and as Samara would say "camp-a- lope"

*loves here blanket to sleep

*loves any furry, soft stuffed animal

*she is a snuggle bug (We never thought we would see the day)

*she gets into every cupboard, potty, or shelf available to get into

*she is calm and peaceful

*she loves to throw her food all over the kitchen

*she likes to giggle

*she puts everything in her mouth and loves to take apart night lights

*she loves her milk

*she is blonder every day

*she is adored by all old people-it's those squishy cheeks and big bright smile

* she has blue eyes

*first and only word "mama"

*she loves to shake shake shake her silly's out by shaking her head super fast

*she loves to jump up and down on her knees

*loves her tub time

*she swims like a wild goose

*she is her sissy's best friend

*she loves popsicles

*she loves her Daddy's hugs and songs

* she is her mommy's little pie pie

*MY FAVORITE IS WHEN SHE GETS EXCITED SHE PUTS HER FISTS UP AND JUST SHAKES HER WHOLE HEAD AND UPPER BODY IT IS STINKIN' CUTE!

My little Kate has brought such a sweet spirit of peace into our home and lives since the day she was born. I can tell she loved her savior and has brought his love into our lives. I am so grateful for my beautiful little doll. She gets more and more fun everyday. We love you Katie Pie!

I am so excited to be a seller on Etsy! I have had many friends, family members and strangers ask me to make them bows for their little girls or to teach them how. I have decided to set up a shop on Etsy and share my designs with everyone. I love to be creative and making bows and fabric flowers are just a few of my favorites! Katie Pie just couldn't stay awake for the fireworks.
Our little alarm clock went off at 5:00 am and so we started our fourth of July bright and early.  SInce Jer and I were up we went with Mom, Ams, DJ and baby Kate to set up the big shade and chairs that would reserve our spot in front of Asia Gardens for the  big parade in Show Low.  We then headed down to the little Show Low park where Dad was making gravy for the biscuit and gravy breakfast.  It was yummy!  Next we got all the little ones dressed  with the fourth of July bows Aunt Necia made and they all looked so patriotic.  The best part of the parade was either the belly dancers, or the guy on the bobcat doing wheelies and tricks.( He must of had a lot of down time at work, but it was impressive!) Samara had 4 dum dum suckers, 1 bag of cookies, 1 ottter pop, some tootsie rolls and a box of nerds by the time we got home for lunch.  I think she loves the fourth as much as her mom.  She was so sticky and covered in candy drool. Oh and I forgot to mention the hot little red candy she spit out after she said "HOT Mommy Hot! "After naps we went to visit Grandpa Pew and I think he loved the big slice of jello cake I left him.  Then we headed down to Aunt Ginna's and Uncle Farrell's for a yummy BBQ, a sweet game of volley ball and some spectacular fire works. ( my favorite)  I don't think I can wait a whole year for another super fun volley ball game.   Our team rocked!!  Chase, Jer, Caden, Brenda, Me, and Trevor.  Go Team!!   I love and am so thankful for the blessing of freedom we have in this wonderful country.  I always get chills when the flag goes by during the parade and everyone stands and puts their hand over their heart taking a moment to remember what it stands for.   We are so lucky to be able to worship and celebrate how we want.   I am so grateful for all who have fought for our country and I love the patriotism  I feel when I am in a small town to celebrate this great day.  It is my favorite Holiday!
